Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) and Deira, Dubai
. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, supporting the business with strategic HR leadership and hands-on management. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in UAE labor law, recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance, particularly within both free zone and mainland operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals across both JAFZA and Deira operations.
Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities for both locations.
Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with UAE labor laws and JAFZA regulations.
Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, disciplinary procedures, and exit formalities.
Maintain and regularly update HR records, employment contracts, and policy documentation.
Coordinate and manage visa processing, renewals, and labor card formalities in both free zone and mainland jurisdictions.
Design and implement performance appraisal systems to foster high performance.
Oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee attendance systems.
Organize training and development initiatives to enhance employee growth and performance.
Lead employee engagement programs to support a positive and productive work environment.
Liaise with government authorities, PRO services, and external consultants for regulatory compliance.
Skills and Qualifications:
Preference:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of HR management experience in the UAE, preferably within trading or distribution sectors.
Solid experience handling HR operations in both
JAFZA and mainland (Deira)
locations.
Strong understanding of UAE labor law, JAFZA-specific regulations, and visa procedures.
Proficient in HRMS/ERP systems (preferably ODOO) and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage multi-location HR teams.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
