Hse/ Safety Officer Construction
Job Description
Implement and monitor the company's HSE management system, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare related documentation and corrective action plans.
Ensure all staff and subcontractors comply with HSE rules and regulations.
Deliver HSE induction and training programs for employees and contractors.
Maintain and update safety records, permits, and documentation.
Monitor and control use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Support emergency response plans and conduct periodic drills.
Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders on HSE matters.
Promote safety awareness culture across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. NEBOSH IGC before 2022 compulsory. IOSH certification Minimum [5] years of experience in HSE, preferably in construction. Sound knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and best practices. Strong reporting, observation, and communication skills. Ability to work in a multicultural, high-risk environment.
