Hse Officer
Job Description
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or any related field
NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
Additional HSE certifications (IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.) are an advantage
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
/ Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental policies in accordance with company and regulatory standards
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
Identify potential hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken promptly
Deliver safety training and toolbox talks for staff and subcontractors
Maintain accident, incident, and near-miss reports; ensure proper investigation and documentation
Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance across all departments
Liaise with management, contractors, and local authorities regarding HSE compliance matters
Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to safety procedures
Prepare and submit HSE performance reports and documentation for audits
Requirements:
NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HSE roles
Currently residing in the GCC with the ability to join immediately preferred
