We are looking for a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team in ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) standards. This role involves developing and implementing safety strategies, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of safety to maintain a secure workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with OHS guidelines and regulations throughout construction projects.
Advise on safety measures and best practices to minimize risks and hazards.
Conduct detailed risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Provide training programs to promote safety awareness and educate personnel on OHS standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Safety Officer within the construction industry - 4 years Minimum .
Strong understanding of occupational health and safety guidelines and risk management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver effective training sessions.
Certification in occupational safety or equivalent qualifications is preferred.
