We are currently looking for a qualified and dedicated
HSE Officer
with a
minimum of 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, implementing health & safety protocols, and promoting a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce company-wide safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Provide safety induction and training to employees and contractors.
Ensure full compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and procedures.
Monitor and enforce the proper use of PPE and adherence to site safety rules.
Prepare and maintain EHS documentation and safety reports.
Submit corrosion reports with photo documentation in a timely manner.
Conduct Industrial Hygiene audits, including MSDS & HAZMAT compliance.
Monitor Benzene and VOC levels in the work environment.
Review and approve ventilation plans for Qatar Energy LNG staff and contractors.
Participate in accident/incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Support the development and implementation of emergency response procedures.
Manage hazardous waste and ensure safe disposal practices.
Conduct biological monitoring and assess heat index statistics for site conditions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or National Diploma in a relevant field.
NEBOSH, IOSH, and OSHA certifications are
mandatory
.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the Oil & Gas sector.
Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene, hazard identification, and risk mitigation strategies.
Experience working with Qatar Energy or LNG projects is a plus
