About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

HSE Officer

to join our team and oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction safety standards, hands-on site experience, and the ability to implement effective safety programs that protect people, equipment, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations across all project sites. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers and subcontractors. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and follow-up actions. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate documentation of safety activities and regulatory reporting. Promote a strong safety culture through continuous awareness and engagement.

Requirements

Minimum

3-5 years of HSE experience

in the

construction industry

. Relevant certifications such as

NEBOSH

,

IOSH

,

OSHA

, or equivalent. Strong understanding of local HSE regulations and construction safety standards. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to work on-site and perform field-based duties. Strong problem-solving and incident investigation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. Experience working on high-rise, infrastructure, civil, or MEP projects. First Aid or Emergency Response certification.
