Role Purpose:

The Project HSE Manager will oversee, coordinate, and manage all Health, Safety & Environment matters for the assigned project.

What this job involves :

• Manage a team of HSE Officers where required.
• Deliver HSE training to members of the project team.
• Advise on resource requirements to meet the project\xe2\x80\x99s HSE objectives.
• Provide information, technical advice, and support to all Project staff relating to HSE, including KSA legislation, standards, and international codes of practice, etc.
• Participate in safety inspections and guide as required individuals nominated to complete designated tasks and corrective actions.
• Conduct an incident investigation for all significant incidents and provide a full report with recommendations to the Project and regional HSE teams.
• Chair Monthly HSE project review meetings.
• Disseminate HSE Project performance information to the project and regional HSE teams.
• Conduct quarterly site HSE audits.
• Assist project teams in reviewing HSE considerations in selecting service providers, LDC and Main Contractors through technical evaluations.
• Monitor to ensure the project has a documented emergency procedure communicated to all personnel and tested at appropriate intervals.
• Manage project consultants with the discharge of their respective HSE obligations - monitor and report on their performance.

Desired skills and experience:

• Minimum of ten years of health & safety experience
• Minimum five years of Middle East project experience
• PMC or Supervision Consultant experience would be advantageous
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
• Environmental Management qualification an advantage
• Certified Internal ISO 45001 Auditor an advantage
• Be proactive and able to work on your own initiative
• Have excellent influencing and persuasive skills
