Job Description

Function

1. Oversee and contribute to the DDWD execution and performance of the set objectives and targets.

2. Contribute to the overall HSSE management of the activities and operations.

1. Provide input to the development of innovative and/or change management programs.

1. Participate actively in formulation and implementation of the HSSE work program.

1. Manage, guide, develop, and train own staff.

1. Foster teamwork and communication among staff in the team and across organizational boundaries.

1. Gather and analyze monitoring and evaluation data to assess:

1. Program impacts

1. Gaps

1. Challenges in the planned strategy

1. Foster positive and productive partner relationships with a related range of organizations and individuals.

1. Ensure compliance with general HSE policies and procedures to be followed by Company or yard personnel in compliance with:

1. Industry consensus standards

1. Local and state (OSHA) rules and other applicable regulations.

1. Own company requirements

1. Client requirements

1. Conduct inspection of the facilities to detect:

1. existing or potential HSE hazards

1. Recommend corrective or preventative measures where indicated.

1. Conduct the administrative tasks necessary for the functioning of the team, including:

1. Monitoring of performance parameters and critical indicators

1. Report on program performance

1. Perform actions related to alertness to the hazards of working with

1. Toxic fumes

1. Dangerous chemicals

1. Other hazardous substances

1. Electrical equipment

1. Metal work

1. Work at height

1. Hot and cold work

1. Overside of the asset

1. Lifting operations

1. Other relevant operations

1. Provide personnel with safety-related information such as:

1. Training sessions

1. Emergency protocols

1. Proper use of safety equipment.

1. Conduct reviews of existing policies and procedures to confirm up to date.

1. Ensure team is conducting risk assessments to minimize:

1. Workplace accidents

1. Occupational illnesses

1. Long-term health hazards.

1. Participate in the:

1. Investigations into workplace injuries

1. Review of Accidents

1. Reporting of Occupational illnesses

1. Ensure causes and corrective actions are identified and applied.

1. Participate in the investigation of incidents and injuries and:

1. Participate in the preparation of material and evidence for organization use in:

1. Hearings

2. Lawsuits

3. Insurance investigations.

1. Devise, coordinate, review and/or provide training programs or media which will increase proficiency in HSS&E practices.

1. Evaluate Yard HSSE staff\'s performance and the effectiveness of training programs by:

1. Providing appropriately effective feedback

1. Recommendations for improvement.

1. Ensure safety and environmental files and records are maintained.

1. Ensure that personal behaviors and work practices are in line with Company policies and safety standards.
