We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HSE Engineer for site supervision in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across our construction projects.

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems and procedures Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for construction activities Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions Provide HSE training and guidance to site personnel and contractors Monitor and report on key HSE performance indicators Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution Ensure compliance with local and international HSE standards and regulations Develop and maintain emergency response plans for construction sites Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE site supervision in construction projects Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, OSHA standards, and environmental compliance requirements Strong skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety auditing Proficiency in HSE management software and tools Experience with environmental management systems and industrial hygiene practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with all levels of personnel Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities * Willingness to work on-site in Kuwait and travel to various project locations as needed
