Oil & Gas technical training /Experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

Report to the Safety Manager and will be fully responsible for the Health and Safety requirements of the workplace /project. He will be conducting all required Toolbox Talk, and Safety reports and ensure, that all the safety procedures are met at the site& workplaces.

Ensure that the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is always worn.

Ensure all workers/technicians are briefed about hazards associated with their type of work

Highlights hazards associated with each work activity to all the operatives

Carries out workplace inspections and raises Health & Safety NCRs for non-conformities and issues default & violations Notes to violators

Ensures the work site is in safe conditions

Adequate monitoring of workers and worksite for any safety-related issues.

Assist the HSE manager in the effective implementation of the Health, Safety& Environmental management plan (OCEMP) during installation work

Advice the factory & site team members on the requirements of the AAES health safety Environmental management plan, and other relevant requirements as well

Undertake daily workshop & site environmental inspections to identify health, safety environmental non-conformances, and recommend corrections & corrective action.

Report and participate in investigating health, safety & environmental incident and ensure the implementation of the recommended corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.

Determined the health, safety & environmental training needs of the workplace & project and ensure its delivery

Respond to client's /consultant queries /inquiries regarding HSE project coverage and requirements

Coordinating and assisting in carrying out periodic testing of emergency response procedures and training of emergency response personnel at the site and in the workplaces

Coordinate with client/contractor's representative on matters related to site activities and respond with the needed information

Ensure spill kit equipment is in place on site and train the site crew on how to use them

Ensure the implementation and verification of permits to work for high-risk activities

Be ready to stop work if imminent danger exists in the workplace.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
