Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced

HSE Coordinator

to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the UAE construction industry. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local HSE regulations and company safety standards, promoting a culture of safety across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor HSE plans, procedures, and policies across construction sites. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits. Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws and EHS regulations. Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to workers and site teams. Maintain proper documentation and records related to safety reports, permits, and certifications. Coordinate emergency drills and first aid readiness across project locations. Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors for HSE-related inspections. Promote a safety-first mindset among staff, subcontractors, and labor force.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience

in the UAE construction industry. NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and influence site teams regarding safety practices. Familiarity with HSE documentation, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or IOSH Managing Safely. UAE driving license.
