Job Description

The HSE Administrator will provide essential administrative support to the HSSE Director and ensure the efficient functioning of the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment office. The role involves managing documentation, coordinating activities, monitoring compliance, and facilitating communication between stakeholders to promote a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist the HSSE Director in daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.

Maintain the HSSE Director's calendar and coordinate appointments and travel arrangements.

Maintain accurate records of HSE policies, procedures, and compliance documentation. Organize and update the department's database, ensuring easy retrieval of critical information. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Act as a liaison between the HSSE office and internal/external stakeholders. Coordinate HSE-related training sessions, workshops, and seminars. Track and ensure timely responses to HSE queries and concerns from employees or management. Support the implementation and monitoring of HSE policies and practices in accordance with regulatory requirements. Assist in preparing for internal and external HSE audits. Collect, compile, and analyze HSE-related data to generate actionable insights. Develop and distribute periodic HSE performance reports. Ensure that office supplies and resources for the HSSE department are maintained. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills:



Education:

Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5-10 years in HSE administration and documentation or a similar role.

Having NEBOSH certification

Skills:



Strong organizational and document management skills. Proficient in MS Office and document control systems. Familiarity with HSE management systems such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Key Competencies:



Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong understanding of HSE principles and practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Work Conditions:



Office-based role with occasional site visits. Adherence to safety standards and personal protective equipment requirements during site visits.
