Job Title: Human Resource Management Program Lecturer Higher College of Technology ? UAE is hiring Lecturers and Senior Lecturers The Faculty at HCT is currently recruiting for the Fall Semester 2023 which will commence around early August 2023. We are recruiting for the HCT system of 16 Campuses all over the UAE. The vacancies within the faculty are for Lecturers, and Senior Lecturers (case to case basis). Academic Program Details: As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach a range of potential courses, which you can learn more about on the Division?s webpage at this link: https://hctcatalog.hct.ac.ae/programmes/. https://hct.ac.ae/en/faculty-staff/ Job Purpose The Human Resource Management Program Lecturer will be responsible for developing and delivering lectures and assessments for human resource courses in the human resource management program. Will work closely with other faculty members to ensure that the curriculum is current, relevant, and meets the program's objectives. Program Courses covered by position (one or more): Professional Practice in Human Resource, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Organizational Change Management, Training and Development, Career Development and Planning, Employee Relations and UAE Labor Law, Compensation and Benefits, Resourcing and Talent Planning, Managing Communications and Emotional Intelligence for HRM, Occupational Health and Safety, Organization Design and Development, International Human Resource Management, Negotiation and Workplace Dispute Resolution, Employee Development through Coaching and Mentoring, Managing Diversity and Inclusion, Strategic Human Resource Management and Human Resource Analytics, HRM Information Systems, HRM Research Project. Key Accountabilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ? Develops and delivers lectures and assessments for human resource management courses in the higher college?s human resource management program in order to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to work as competent HRM professionals. ? Develops course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials in order to ensure student will have the skills, values and ability to explain, analyze and evaluate complex Human Resource Management processes in local and global contexts, while demonstrating the ability to work independently, or in teams, to think critically, solve problems, make recommendations for improvements, and use advanced Human Resource Management tools. ? Develops and implements program, policies, procedures, and initiatives. ? Collaborates with other faculty members and program coordinators to ensure that the curriculum is current, relevant, and meets the program's objectives. ? Creates and grades assignments, exams, and other assessments. ? Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other academic information. ? Provides feedback and supports to students to help them achieve their academic and professional goals. Maintains open communication with students about their performance in the program. ? Offers support to students outside of class, such as office hours or online discussion forums, to help them succeed in the course. ? Stays up-to-date with industry developments and trends to ensure that the program remains relevant and competitive. Conducts research to ensure that program content is up-to-date and relevant. ? Attends faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and other higher college events as required. ? Serves as an academic advisor to students and participate in other student-centered activities. ? Participates in program and department meetings to discuss curriculum, assessment, and other academic issues. ? Participates in university-wide committees or initiatives related to teaching and learning, to help promote best practices and improve student outcomes. ? Serves as a mentor to other faculty members or student teachers, offering guidance and support on teaching practices and pedagogy. ? Perform any other relevant task as directed by direct superior. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and/or Experience Academic background includes a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business management, psychology, legal. Minimum 5 years related industrial experience, with preferred minimum of 2 years of university level teaching experience. Required expertise includes deep understanding of: Strategic HRM And HR Analytics, Employee Development through Coaching and Mentoring, Employee Relations and UAE Labor Law, Compensation and Benefits, HRM Information Systems, Managing Communications and Emotional Intelligence in HRM, Training and Development Career Development and Planning, Performance Management, Organizational Change Management, Recruitment and Selection Licenses/Certificates (minimum 2): Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) Language Skills English communications and presentation skills are a must. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of students, faculty members, clients and the general public.   • Relocation Assistance for overseas hires. (These include Employment Visa processing, Relocation ticket, airport pick up, temporary accommodation for 15 days on arrival)
  • Yearly Ticket Travel Allowance will be paid on an annual basis as per the HCT Human Resources Policy.
  • Education Allowance: Annual tuition fees of AED 60,000/- per family with a cap of AED 45,000/- per child, as per applicable policies and procedures. The following fees can be claimed later on: Tuition, Books, Uniform, Registration, School Transportation fees.
  • Health Insurance for Self, Spouse, and dependent Children (up to 3 children) as per the HCT Human Resources Policy. The health insurance covers medicals, dental and optical as well.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
