Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Process monthly payroll for site and office staff in compliance with UAE Wage Protection System (WPS).

Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, deductions, and allowances.

Maintain payroll records, employee attendance, and leave management.

Handle end-of-service benefits (gratuity, leave salary, final settlements) as per UAE Labour Law.

Process staff advances, deductions, and loan settlements.

Ensure timely payroll disbursement through bank transfers or WPS.

Coordinate with HR and finance for employee onboarding, salary revisions, and exit procedures.

Prepare payroll reports and reconciliation statements.

Stay updated on UAE labour laws, visa regulations, and tax policies affecting payroll.

Assist with audits, financial compliance, and resolving payroll disputes.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2 years in payroll processing within the construction sector in the UAE.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proficiency in ERP payroll systems, MS Excel, and WPS portals.

Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law, WPS, gratuity calculation, and compliance.

Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience handling payroll for site-based and blue-collar workers.

Knowledge of construction industry payroll structures, including overtime and allowances.

Ability to work under pressure and meet payroll deadlines.
