HR Operations Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Documentation & Records Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical and digital employee records and files.
  • Prepare, update, and manage all HR documents, contracts, and policies.
  • Ensure all personnel data is confidential and secure.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management:
  • Onboarding: Coordinate and execute a seamless onboarding process for new hires, including inductions and documentation.
  • Offboarding: Manage the exit process, including final settlements, clearance certificates, and exit interviews.
  • Leave, Attendance & Payroll Support:
  • Administer employee leave requests (annual, sick, etc.) and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee daily attendance tracking and address any discrepancies.
  • Liaise with the payroll team to provide accurate inputs for salary processing.
  • HR Systems & Process Efficiency:
  • Utilize and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS) effectively.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to HR operational processes for greater efficiency.
  • Visa & Government Relations:
  • Manage end-to-end employee visa processes, including new applications, renewals, cancellations, and medicals.
  • Handle all transactions with relevant government portals (MOHRE, Tasheel, etc.).
  • Employee Services & Compliance:
  • Prepare various HR letters (employment, NOC, experience, salary certificates) upon request.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR operational queries.
  • Ensure all practices are fully compliant with the UAE Labour Law and related regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in HR Operations or a similar generalist role within the UAE.
  • Mandatory Knowledge: In-depth, working knowledge of UAE Labour Law and government procedures (visa, work permits, etc.).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software/systems (HRIS) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential. Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.
