The role requires experience in handling large manufacturing manpower, strong knowledge of UAE labor law, and the ability to build a disciplined, productive, and motivated workforce.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End HR Operations Management
Manage HR functions within the factory including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and HR documentation.
Maintain master data for all workers, supervisors, staff, and management.
Ensure smooth HR operations across all shifts and departments.
2. Recruitment & Staffing
Manage hiring for factory positions: operators, technicians, supervisors, engineers, admin & support teams.
Coordinate with recruitment agencies for UAE/local hiring as well as overseas hiring.
Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and deploy manpower as per production requirements.
Plan workforce requirements for peak seasons and new projects.
3. Attendance, Timekeeping & Payroll Coordination
Manage biometric attendance system for all factory staff and workers.
Maintain shift schedules, overtime approvals, and attendance reports.
Coordinate with accounts/HR payroll team to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing.
4. Employee Relations & Discipline
Maintain strong discipline and ensure adherence to company policies.
Handle grievances, conflicts, and disputes professionally.
Conduct counseling sessions for employees when required.
Build a healthy, transparent, and safe work environment.
5. Training, Development & Performance Management
Identify skill gaps and conduct training for operators, supervisors, and staff.
Ensure SOP training, safety training, and quality awareness sessions are conducted regularly.
Drive annual performance appraisals and KPI-based evaluations.
Work with department heads to define job roles and skill matrices.
6. Compliance with UAE Labor Law
Ensure company compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
Manage visa processing, renewals, medical tests, Emirates ID, and related documentation.
Coordinate with PRO for all government-related submissions.
Maintain statutory documents, contracts, and employee files.
7. HR Administration & Welfare
Manage staff accommodation, transport, canteen, uniforms, safety gear, and welfare activities.
Ensure proper onboarding kits, ID cards, and joining formalities.
Oversee safety policies and coordinate with safety officers for compliance.
8. Policy Implementation & HR Systems
Implement HR policies, factory rules, SOPs, and code of conduct.
Improve HR processes and systems for discipline, efficiency, and documentation.
Maintain HR MIS reports for management review.
9. Exit Management
Handle resignations, exit interviews, full & final settlements, and offboarding process.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure smooth transition during employee exits.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong working knowledge of
UAE labor law
and HR best practices.
Experience in handling
factory HR
, especially large manpower.
Ability to manage
multi-shift operations
and handle worker-related issues effectively.
Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.
Strong documentation, reporting, and coordination abilities.
Experience with HRMS/ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Zoho, etc.).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in HR / Business Administration / Commerce or related field.
MBA in HR is preferred.
Minimum
7+ years of HR experience in manufacturing
