Hr manager construction

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes for a fast-paced construction and interior fit-out company. This role ensures the effective management of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager will play a key role in building a strong company culture and supporting project-based workforce requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning



Develop and execute recruitment strategies for project and office staff (engineers, site supervisors, foremen, technicians, labor, etc.). Coordinate with project managers to forecast manpower requirements. Manage end-to-end recruitment including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Maintain updated manpower tracker and organization chart.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement



Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues. Foster a positive work culture aligned with company values. Plan and implement employee engagement activities and welfare programs. Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations professionally.

3. HR Operations & Compliance



Manage HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and health & safety regulations. Oversee payroll coordination with the finance department. Maintain accurate HR documentation and employee records.

4. Training & Development



Identify training needs and coordinate technical and soft skills programs. Support career development and succession planning initiatives. Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.

5. Performance Management



Implement and manage the performance appraisal system. Support managers in setting KPIs and evaluating performance. Recommend rewards, promotions, and development plans based on performance data.

6. HR Strategy & Reporting



Contribute to the development of HR strategies aligned with company goals. Prepare monthly HR reports (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, etc.). Advise management on HR trends and best practices in the construction industry.

Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum

5-8 years

of HR experience, with at least

3 years in the construction or interior fit-out industry

. Strong knowledge of labor laws, recruitment, and site-based HR operations. Experience handling both white-collar and blue-collar employees. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g., Zoho, SAP, or similar).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
