. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in all facets of HR management, with hands-on experience in the
UAE labor market
. This role is critical in overseeing recruitment, employee relations, HR policy development, legal compliance, and strategic workforce planning, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: manpower planning, job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Ensure full compliance with
UAE labor laws
, visa regulations, and HR best practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Handle employee relations, grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions with professionalism and fairness.
Oversee payroll processing, leave management, and employee records using HRMS systems.
Lead the implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and growth.
Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and KPI analysis for senior management.
Support management in organizational restructuring, talent retention, and succession planning.
Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture aligned with the company's values.
Liaise with government authorities as needed for visa, labour, and compliance matters (in coordination with PROs).
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, etc.)
are an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience in the UAE
, preferably in the
construction, engineering, or contracting sector
.
Strong knowledge of
UAE labor law
, visa procedures, and employee relations practices.
Experience in handling multi-cultural workforces and managing HR operations across different sites or locations.
Proficient in MS Office, and reporting tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in
English
(Arabic is an advantage).
Ability to work independently, manage confidential matters, and contribute to strategic planning.
