The role covers a broad range of HR activities ensuring the effective implementation of the people strategy across the Middle East and North Africa region, leading the HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and Rewards.
The HR Generalist will also act as the HR Business Partner for Egypt.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Service delivery to the MENA region, acting as the first point of contact for employees, and providing support and advice to management on key HR processes, guidelines, and local employment law.
Management of core HR operations such as:
Recruitment and Onboarding;
Rewards & Mobility: payroll and local benefits management, Salary Benchmarking and Salary Review process, People Budget, managing the international mobility process;
HR Service, Governance and Administration: Managing the HR Systems & Service Delivery, HR reporting, People Policies, Audits;
Support with Employee Engagement and Wellbeing activities
Support with Learning & Development activities (i.e conduct Training Needs Analysis, deploy learning initiatives)
Be an active contributor in the dsm-firmenich transformation journey, participating in global and regional projects
We value:
University degree in HR, and/or Professional HR Qualification (i.e CIPD)
Minimum 5 years relevant HR work experience, particularly in Recruitment, Rewards, Employee Relations and HR Service Delivery
Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office, and other HR-related software (i.e People Soft, SAP Success Factors)
Strong knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and employment practices
Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Project management skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
Fluent in English and Arabic
