Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Executive to manage the recruitment and HR functions for our car workshop in Dubai, focusing on hiring and managing blue-collar and white collar. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive industry, labor laws in the UAE, and experience in recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

:

Recruitment & Selection

: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled blue-collar workers such as mechanics, technicians, and support staff. Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates for various positions within the workshop. Conduct reference checks and background verification. Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and job portals to source candidates. Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.

Employee Relations

: Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution within the workshop. Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement. Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.

Training & Development

: Identify training needs for blue-collar employees and coordinate with the training department to develop relevant programs. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

Performance Management

: Assist in the performance appraisal process, ensuring clear communication of expectations and providing feedback to employees. Help develop career progression plans for blue-collar workers.

HR Administration

: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Manage payroll, attendance, and leave records for workshop staff. Prepare HR reports and metrics as required.

Health & Safety

: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop. Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety audits.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on blue-collar recruitment in the automotive or related industry. Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and regulations. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Urdu) is a plus.

Preferred Skills

:

Experience working in the automotive industry or car workshops. Familiarity with blue-collar workforce management. Ability to build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies.

Pay: AED3,500.00 per month
