Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and Labour camp experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality, ensuring that our facilities provide a welcoming environment for guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to cleaning and supervising staff, as well as effective management of housekeeping operations.

Duties

Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility. Supervise, train, and mentor housekeeping staff to uphold quality standards and improve performance. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Coordinate laundry services, ensuring linens and uniforms are cleaned and maintained properly. Implement best practices for safety and sanitation in accordance with health regulations. Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping or janitorial services. Strong background in commercial cleaning or hospitality management is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols. Previous experience in hotel or healthcare settings is advantageous. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and guests effectively. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to providing exceptional service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
