Housekeeping Team Leader

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and maintain overall efficiency of set standards for the Housekeeping function.

What you will be doing:

\xc2\xb7To attend and handle all guest requests received for internal services, as per the hotel standards and procedures.

\xc2\xb7Conducts daily briefing for Room Attendants

\xc2\xb7Conducts daily inspection of employee grooming.

\xc2\xb7Inspects all guest rooms, corridors and pantries on a daily basis to ensure highest standard of cleanliness.

\xc2\xb7Conducts on the job training for all Room Attendants.

\xc2\xb7Maintains effective employee relations.

\xc2\xb7Checks and maintains equipment and machines used.

\xc2\xb7Prepares job orders and co-ordinate with Engineering for follow up.

\xc2\xb7Ensure special attention given to VIP rooms.

\xc2\xb7Report any sick, irregular guest, and any stranger on guest corridors to the Housekeeper, Security Office immediately.

\xc2\xb7Proper handover and take over of the incoming and out going shifts to be handled well.

\xc2\xb7Report all Lost & Found items to Housekeeping.

\xc2\xb7Prepare discrepancy report for the front office.

\xc2\xb7Prepare inventory for room linen.

\xc2\xb7Notify Housekeeper any damage caused by guest.

\xc2\xb7Check and follow all maintenance report If the work is incomplete.

\xc2\xb7Waters and changes all flowers as per schedule requirement.

\xc2\xb7Ensures that all flower arrangements look pleasant before the delivery to the rooms.

\xc2\xb7While inspecting guest rooms and other area there should be eye for detail.

\xc2\xb7To respect key handling procedures.

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum of 2-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in 5* hotel.
• Experience in the GCC and/or Middle East Region is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
• Be committed to exceeding guest expectations
