Job Description

The Housekeeping Staff are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation within the clinic. This role ensures that all patient areas, staff facilities, and treatment rooms are kept safe, clean, and well-organized in compliance with healthcare standards.

The ideal candidates will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff within a private healthcare setting in the UAE. Previous experience in a healthcare or hospitality environment will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinic Cleanliness & Hygiene:



Perform daily cleaning of patient areas, consultation rooms, treatment areas, reception, and staff facilities Ensure all surfaces, floors, and equipment are properly sanitized in line with infection control protocols Dispose of medical and general waste safely and in accordance with clinic policies Replenish supplies such as sanitizers, tissues, and consumables in treatment and waiting areas

Facility Maintenance & Support:



Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Clinic Manager promptly Assist in preparing consultation and treatment rooms before and after patient visits Ensure proper handling of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment in line with safety standards Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and inform management when replenishment is required

Coordination & Communication:



Work closely with administrative and clinical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as assigned by the Clinic Manager Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with staff, patients, and visitors

Documentation & Compliance:



Adhere to infection control and hygiene standards in line with UAE healthcare regulations Ensure compliance with clinic policies, occupational health, and safety guidelines Follow proper waste segregation and disposal protocols for medical and non-medical waste

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:



Provide feedback on housekeeping processes and suggest improvements where needed Participate in staff training sessions related to hygiene, safety, and infection control Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional clinic environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:



Previous housekeeping experience (healthcare or hospitality setting preferred) Knowledge of cleaning and infection control standards Ability to follow schedules, routines, and safety guidelines Good communication and teamwork skills Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties effectively Presentable appearance and high standards of personal hygiene Basic English language proficiency
