Position Overview
The Housekeeping Intern role at InterContinental Fujairah Resort supports daily housekeeping operations while providing hands-on exposure to luxury hotel standards. This position helps maintain high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across rooms and public areas within a five-star resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, gyms, pools, and event spaces
• Support room preparation for guest check-in including bed making, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking amenities
• Help ensure timely and efficient room turnover while meeting cleanliness standards
• Stock and organize housekeeping carts with required supplies and materials
• Participate in daily team briefings to understand tasks and workflow priorities
• Respond to housekeeping requests and deliver additional amenities as needed
• Coordinate with maintenance and front office teams to address guest requests
• Follow safety, health, and hygiene guidelines including chemical handling and waste disposal
• Maintain a courteous presence and respond promptly to guest needs throughout shifts

Ideal Profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
• Previous on-the-job training or experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail with a genuine interest in cleanliness and service quality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills
• Physically able to lift up to 23 kilograms and perform tasks involving standing, bending, and movement
• Flexible to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
