, you will be responsible for managing the daily cleaning operations for the apartment complex, supervising housekeeping staff, and ensuring that all common areas and vacant apartments are thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational, supervisory, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
Inspect apartments, common areas, and facilities for cleanliness and ensure adherence to property cleanliness policies
Develop and implement cleaning schedules for common areas, vacant units, and special projects
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order and restock as necessary
Ensure housekeeping staff follows health and safety regulations and proper use of cleaning products
Coordinate with property management to prepare apartments for new residents or inspections
Handle any resident or guest complaints regarding cleanliness and resolve issues promptly
Maintain and update cleaning checklists, procedures, and training manuals
Track cleaning progress, report any maintenance issues to the property management team, and follow up on requests
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and safety protocols
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
