Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Hotel Sales Manager

to lead and execute sales strategies that drive revenue, increase market share, and build long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and promoting the hotel's rooms, meeting spaces, and services to corporate, leisure, and group clients.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize occupancy. Proactively identify and secure new business through networking, cold-calling, site inspections, and sales presentations. Manage and grow relationships with existing corporate, group, travel trade, and event planning clients. Respond to RFPs, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts for group bookings, events, and long-stay corporate accounts. Collaborate with the Revenue and Marketing teams to align pricing, promotions, and positioning strategies. Conduct regular market research to monitor competition, market trends, and client preferences. Represent the hotel at industry trade shows, sales missions, networking events, and client meetings. Maintain accurate and updated records in the CRM or sales system (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce). Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery throughout the sales process.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Sales, or a related field Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in a similar segment (corporate, MICE, leisure, etc.) Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong knowledge of the local and regional hospitality market Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel CRM/Sales systems Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work under pressure Ability to travel and attend off-site client meetings and events as needed

Preferred Skills:



Experience with luxury or boutique hotels (if applicable) Knowledge of revenue management principles Multilingual capabilities (if serving international markets) Familiarity with digital sales tools and platforms
