Our successful Hotel Sales Executives...

  • achieve given room night/revenue sales targets per month for the hotel/unit an plan towards achieving that goal
  • promote the Southern Sun brand and unit and ensure enquiries are answered on time
  • Visit clients and prospects on external sales calls and site inspections of the hotel including food and beverage outlets
  • promptly follow up on outstanding quotes, requests for proposals, and sales enquiries at trade shows / exhibition / seminars / other
  • analyse client and market information, and compile conclusive reports with recommendations for ongoing or new business
  • build co-operative and professional relationships with unit management and clients
  • attend weekly rooms revenue meetings
  • attend networking events and functions
  • work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards. If you have the following requirements good numeracy skills; ability to present information added advantage knowledge of Hotel Reservations/Front, MICE experience and recommendations in an efficient and effective manner in order for decisions to be made; MS Office.
