Job Summary: Looking for a Hotel Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
Lead and direct all hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, as well as sales
Ensure efficient and effective daily operations, while upholding the highest levels of service quality and guest satisfaction
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and improve overall efficiency
Promote a guest-centric culture among staff to create a welcoming and memorable experience for all guests
Develop and manage the hotel\'s annual budget, including revenue generation, expense control, as well as cost optimization
Monitor financial performance against targets and implement strategies to enhance profitability
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies to drive occupancy rates and increase revenue
Participate in marketing initiatives, promotions, and partnerships to enhance the hotel\'s visibility and market presence
Address guest concerns and complaints promptly, striving for swift resolution and maintaining a positive reputation
Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team of hotel staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver exceptional service
Offer regular performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and address any training needs
Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring that facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations
Regularly inspect the hotel to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and overall quality
Set up and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, as well as partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Make sure the hotel adheres to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, promoting a secure and comfortable environment for guests and staff members
Handle budgets or expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits
Job Qualifications and Experience
The applicant must have a Degree in Hotel Management or any relevant course
Should have several years of experience in hotel management or similar position
Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of other languages is a plus
Strong leadership and management skills required
Must have a strong understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws as well as guidelines
Working knowledge of MS Office suite, knowledge of hotel management software (PMS) will be a plus
Excellent customer service skills required
Good skills in decision-making and problem-solving required
Must be reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Must have a business mindset
