Job Description
A Virtual General Manager for a US hotel portfolio is responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative and operational functions of multiple hotels within the portfolio. This includes overseeing the hotel\'s Operational, financial and accounting activities. The Virtual General Manager also works closely with the hotel\'s General Manager to ensure the overall success and profitability of the hotel portfolio. Other responsibilities include training and development of staff, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Desired candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in managing and leading teams. Working Hours will be USA PST zone. Additional experience should include:
- Building and managing teams of employees across various departments, such as accounting, human resources, and revenue management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in managing budgets, forecasting revenues, and analyzing financial performance.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to the hotel industry, such as payroll taxes and labor laws.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems, such as property management systems and accounting software.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies to improve guest satisfaction and reputation management.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
