This role is critical to delivering the high standards our guests expect. You will be responsible for managing the hot kitchen section, particularly steaks, sauces, and sides, ensuring every dish leaving your station is cooked to perfection.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality grilled meats and hot dishes in line with restaurant standards
Ensure all food is cooked and presented on time, maintaining consistency and excellence
Maintain cleanliness and organization in your station according to hygiene and safety standards
Collaborate with the Head Chef and team to innovate and improve the hot section offerings
Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Train and mentor junior staff assigned to your section
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hot Section Chef or equivalent role in a steakhouse or high-end restaurant
Strong knowledge of meat cuts, grilling techniques, and steak preparation
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Excellent time management skills
Food safety and hygiene certification is an advantage
Must be willing to
relocate to or travel daily to Baniyas, Abu Dhabi
