As a Hot Food Kitchen Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of Italian hot dishes including pastas. You must be skilled in authentic Italian cooking techniques, able to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation, and work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook hot Italian dishes according to recipes and standards.
Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all food served.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop seasonal menus.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff when necessary.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Italian cuisine, with strong focus on hot dishes.
Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Italian ingredients, sauces, and cooking methods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and passion for Italian food.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
