INTRODUCTION We are a fast-growing UAE-based company involved in the manufacturing and global distribution of premium, gourmet snacking products. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Horeca Manager to lead and be responsible for the efficient running of the Machinery at the Plant, adding value by bringing in in-depth knowledge & business acumen to the department. Position: Sales Manager - HORECA Reporting to: Head of Sales Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Direct Reports: None
Primary Objective: Responsible for driving sales activity in his/her assigned territory via driving the 4 P\xe2\x80\x99s and focusing on product availability, price activity; visibility and planning to implement promotional activities. With the use of customers\xe2\x80\x99 portfolio, he/she will expand into the new national/international markets by winning new leads, achieving sales targets, and managing the overall budget for the food service, HORECA channels.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work on enriching the customer pipeline either by capturing market shares or developing the market.
  • Focus on the availability of company new products to maximize their potential and expand customer base to ensure coverage of potential customers is maximized.
  • Ensure the proper implementation for any new developmental areas whether in introducing new products or winning new customers.
  • Effectively manages customer base, customer administration and work on customer satisfaction and receivables. 100% customer satisfaction is always expected and encouraging the direct reports (if any) to be proactive on this point.
  • Keep an open eye on the market and be informed on what competitors are doing.
  • Keep the sales team well-informed on any new leads in the market and always keep an open communication channel, brainstorm and discuss how to improve internal processes or how to adopt best practices as seen from the market.
  • Be responsible for achieving sales target for his/her channel.
  • Suggest development on several areas such as better techniques to achieve sales target, serving the customer needs, improvement on delivery process, ordering process, customer service etc.
  • Carry out monthly sales reports including forecasting and/or any reporting required by the Head of Sales.
  • Liaise internally with each department and support/adhere to the internal processes
  • Ensure that all sales orders are acknowledged within a reasonable response limit
  • Maintain a clear and effective communication with the customers.
  • Ensure retention of the direct reports (if any) and raise any concerns related to them immediately to the Head of Sales and or HR.



Education Requirements: Bachelor Graduate in Business Administration or equivalent

Other Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ideally 6-8 years of experience as in Sales within the Food Service and HORECA industry
  • 3 years of experience in Management of Sales teams FMCG
  • Fluent in English & Arabic (French) preferred
  • Computer literate is mandatory
  • Driving License is essential
  • Understand departments internally such as the logistics, production, finance and so on.
  • Problem Solving & ability to work under stress
  • Strong Food Service contacts
  • Ability to deal at all levels \xe2\x80\x93from Unit Head Chefs & Contract Catering Managers through to Buyer
  • Knowledge/understanding of food Nutrition
