Seeking teachers

We are seeking dynamic and committed Teachers to join us. Teachers at Clarion are committed to offering individualized learning that focuses on mastering skills to encourage inquiry-based learning. Establishing the foundation for lifelong learning is at Clarion\'s forefront.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or a Master\'s degree with a valid teaching certificate/license in content area and/or related field
• Candidates with progressive school experience preferred (PBL, IB, or Montessori)
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the same subject that matches your qualification (must provide reference letter)
• Experience in UAE/GCC region preferred
• US Common Core Curriculum experience preferred
• IELTS Certification (8.0) for Non-Native English Speakers or Native English Speakers;
• Preference will be given to candidates holding a North American teaching qualification and a minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a North American educational environment.

The positions are:

Music Teacher, PK to 6th grade: Instrumental and Choral experience needed as well as recent primary school work experience is mandatory.

Counsellor, PreK to grade 6: certification and degrees relevant to being a licensed school counselor needed; experience in a Primary School- minimum of 2 years- necessary

Grade 4-5-6 Math specialist: will be a homeroom teacher in one of the 3 grades, while also teaching grades 4 5 6 Math. Ability to work outside the box of a traditional book based curriculum is essential, while delivering the New York Common Core State Standards in Math

Primary Homeroom teachers grades 1 to 3: Must have recent experience working in a progressive environment - and ability to show us units and student work that back this up. Will teach core subjects of Math, Science, Language Arts, Reading, Moral Education and special Units of Study in Social Studies. Must be hands on project based type of teacher- think Montessori+STEAM\xe2\x80\xa6 21st century style!

\xe2\x80\x9cMaker Space\xe2\x80\x9d teacher PK to grade 6: Must have true hands on experience in the arts, arts and crafts, and particularly woodcrafting. Throw in the ability to do some electrical work and robotics with our STEAM teacher and you are the person we want. You come with your own coveralls, steel tipped boots, and protective glasses\xe2\x80\xa6and bring with you your passion to help build 300+ bird boxes/nests with every child for the fall/winter migratory birds; to work with the STEAM teacher to make moving projects; to work on sets for a play with the art teacher; and most importantly the ability to connect with children and help them explore their curiosity to go from dreams to project design to implementation and then \xe2\x80\x9cshowNtell!\xe2\x80\x9d
