We are looking for Teachers who are passionate and enjoy creating an engaging and inspiring learning environment for students .

Homeroom Teachers - Abu Dhabi

These appointments are for Immediate and September 2023.

Duties and responsibilities are:
  • Motivating and stimulating children\xe2\x80\x99s learning abilities
  • Encourage learning through experience
  • Provide support to the children\xe2\x80\x99s learning environment
  • Develop and produce visual aids and teaching resources
  • Assist with the development of children\xe2\x80\x99s personal, social and language abilities
  • Help develop the children\xe2\x80\x99s basic skills, including speech and communication
  • Encourage children\xe2\x80\x99s creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play
  • Observing, assessing and recording each child\xe2\x80\x99s progress
  • Ensuring the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities
  • Maintain and schedule weekly and monthly activities
  • Participate in ongoing in service and education development opportunities
  • Advise and cooperate with the Head of Department, Head of Academics and Principal and other teachers in the preparation and development of courses of study, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and lesson planning and assessment
  • Register and monitor the attendance of students under one\xe2\x80\x99s care
  • Nurture a culture where teachers view themselves essentially as facilitators of learning and reflective practitioners
  • Make use of technology during the delivery of the lessons
Qualifications:
  • B.Ed. (Primary Education)/ BA (Early Year Education)/ BSc (Early Childhood)/ MEd (Primary Teaching) or
  • Bachelor Degree in another subject + Teaching License/Diploma (in early childhood/primary) Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience or
  • Diploma in Teaching + 3yrs experience in teaching childhood/primary

  • The ability to work well with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals
  • Commitment to children\xe2\x80\x99s development and equal opportunities
  • An understanding of the safety of children
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Creative ideas for designing learning and play activities
  • The ability to manage classes and deal with challenging behaviours
  • Excellent communication skills
