Homeroom Teacher (Primary)
Position: Homeroom Teacher (Primary School - Key Stage 1 or 2)
Curriculum: British National Curriculum
About the Role:
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Homeroom Teacher to provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our primary students. As a homeroom teacher, you will be the primary point of contact for your class, responsible for their overall well-being and academic progress across core subjects. You will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for their future education.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the homeroom teacher for a designated primary class, fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom community.
  • Plan and teach a range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and Topic (History/Geography) based on the British National Curriculum.
  • Implement differentiated instruction to meet the varied needs of all learners.
  • Conduct ongoing formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication, meetings, and reports.
  • Support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of each child.
  • Collaborate with specialist teachers (e.g., Arabic, Islamic, PE, Music) and teaching assistants to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
  • Organize classroom activities, displays, and educational trips.
  • Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education (Primary) or a Bachelor's degree with a PGCE/PGDE in Primary Education. Early Years training is a plus for lower primary roles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary setting, with a strong preference for British curriculum experience.
  • Valid Ministry of Education (MoE) Approval is mandatory.
  • A nurturing and patient personality with a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to create a vibrant, print-rich, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively partner with parents and colleagues.
  • Candidates currently residing in Ajman or Sharjah are preferred.
