Qualifications:

Assess and chart observations of the patient\xe2\x80\x99s condition at each visit.
Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
Administer Physician-prescribed medication.
Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
Provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies.
Coordinate with Physicians, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other individuals in the patient\xe2\x80\x99s care plan.
Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.
Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.
Candidates will be reporting to our nephrologist but will be handling the procedure at the patient\'s house alone, so they must be able to do medication preparation, and patient preparation, have knowledge about detecting abnormalities, and be able to interact in emergencies.
Candidates must be able to operate the machine from the start to end of the session and troubleshoot when needed we will provide training on the models we use but they must be familiar with the general technology.
RNs will follow the physician\xe2\x80\x99s prescription and session order.
RN must be familiar with different types of dialysis catheters and catheter care in sterile technique.
Part of her job is also blood extraction if lab work was ordered by the physician and IV medication administration as needed, so cannulation shall be one of her skills.
