As a Home Health Nurse at Freelan, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to patients in their homes. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Your primary goal will be to promote the health and well-being of our patients and support them in achieving their optimal level of independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication management, and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards of nursing practice
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Valid nursing license in the United Arab Emirates
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health or community nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Arabic is an asset
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Home Health Nurse will work Monday-Friday, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed. The role may involve some travel within the city to visit patients in their homes.
