Job Description

Responsibilities:

Personal Care: Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Medication Reminders: Ensuring timely medication intake as prescribed. Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious and appealing meals, considering any dietary restrictions. Light Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized living environment (e.g., tidying up, light laundry related to the individual's care). Companionship: Providing emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversations, and participating in activities the individual enjoys (e.g., reading, walks, hobbies). Mobility Assistance: Safely assisting with walking, transfers (e.g., from bed to chair), and using mobility aids. Monitoring Health: Observing and reporting any changes in the individual's physical or mental condition to the family or relevant medical professionals. Transportation (if required): Assisting with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities. Following Care Plans: Adhering to individualized care plans and instructions provided by family members or healthcare professionals. Maintaining a Safe Environment: Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards in the home. Communication: Maintaining open and clear communication with family members regarding the individual's well-being and any concerns.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as an Elderly Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to care for the elderly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards. Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred (certification is a plus). Ability to assist with mobility and transfers safely. Experience with medication reminders. Ability to prepare nutritious meals. Respect for the privacy and dignity of the individual. Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred:

Relevant certifications in elder care. Fluency in English

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
