Home Caregiver

with 2 years of experience in providing personal care and medical support to patients in home settings. Skilled in assisting elderly, disabled, or chronically ill patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and health. Strong understanding of healthcare protocols, hygiene standards, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily personal care activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient health under guidance of nurses or physicians. Support mobility and help with physical exercises and rehabilitation activities. Prepare healthy meals and assist with feeding if required. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being. Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report changes to medical staff or supervisors. Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow care plans. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment for the patient. Escort patients to medical appointments or communicate with healthcare professionals when needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a home caregiver or healthcare assistant. Healthcare background (e.g., Nursing Assistant, Practical Nurse, or caregiver training certificate). Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care routines. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of patience, empathy, and reliability. Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
