Home Care Nurse Female
Job Description
A Home Care Nurse, or Home Health Nurse provides in-home care and nursing services to patients under the supervision of a Physician. Their primary duties include administering medication, changing the patient's dressings and preparing reports for the Physician in charge.
A Home Care Nurse has several important duties and responsibilities these include:
Managing a patient's healthcare plan according to the Physician's instructions
Bathing and grooming the patient daily
Checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse and other vital signs
Administering and maintaining a record of all prescribed medication
Checking for infection, bedsores and wounds in the patient
Educating and advising Caregivers in the household
Dressing or redressing wounds and assessing the progress of healing
Developing and improving the healthcare plan in collaboration with other healthcare personnel in the household
Providing palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable
Make recommendations for devices ot tools that might improve the patient's quality of life
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
