Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Patient Care

Provide direct nursing care to patients at home, including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures. Monitor and assess the patient's condition, vital signs, and response to treatment. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) where applicable. Educate patients and family members on treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.

2. Care Planning & Documentation

Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans in coordination with the healthcare team. Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and company standards. Report any changes in the patient's condition to the physician and management promptly.

3. Safety & Compliance

Follow infection prevention and control measures during all procedures. Adhere to local health authority regulations, professional nursing standards, and company policies. Handle medical equipment and supplies according to safety guidelines.

4. Communication & Coordination

Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain clear and professional communication with patients, families, and caregivers. Participate in case conferences, training, and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Valid DHA / DOH / MOH license or eligibility (as per UAE requirements). Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience (home care experience preferred). Proficient in clinical nursing skills, patient education, and emergency response. Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
