Position Overview:
The Home Appliance Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing the ordering, inventory, and distribution of spare parts required for home appliance repair and maintenance. This role ensures timely availability of parts, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination between suppliers, technicians, and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Parts Management & Procurement
Identify required parts based on service requests and technician requirements.
Source and order parts from approved suppliers or manufacturers.
Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of parts.
Inventory Control
Maintain optimal stock levels of frequently used appliance parts.
Perform regular inventory checks and update records in the inventory management system.
Monitor stock movements and flag slow-moving or obsolete items.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with technicians to ensure required parts are available for scheduled repairs.
Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order updates.
Provide status updates to customer service teams for repair scheduling.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of parts usage, inventory adjustments, and purchase histories.
Prepare reports on inventory levels, order status, and cost analysis.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement and documentation procedures.
Logistics
Arrange delivery or dispatch of parts to technicians or branch locations.
Handle returns, warranty claims, and replacements for faulty or incorrect parts.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in spare parts coordination, preferably in home appliances or electronics.
Strong understanding of appliance parts, components, and technical terminology.
Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in inventory management systems or ERP software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
