Job description Our travel agency is searching for MICE & Holidays Consultant. This position is responsible for arranging for all MICE (including leisure Groups)It would be best if you were passionate about seeing the world and helping others do the same. This role involves planning holidays, suggesting travel destinations, maintaining client files, and managing large-scale MICE. representatives to promote our services and increase sales, performing data analysis, and engaging in quality assurance as well as customer service activities. Job responsibilities:
  • Organizing and preparing holiday tour packages. Combining transport, accommodation, and services such as sightseeing arrangements to create holiday packages. Design and formulate the best suitable Itinerary(a planned route or journey) as per client requirements. Itineraries for clientele customized to their requirements.
  • Negotiating with Vendors/suppliers to win business and also to increase profitability on an acquired business.
  • The ideal candidate will fully understand both the company and departmental goals. Responsibilities also include destination research, developing ideas to increase business, and creating promotional ideas to expose our products and services to clients.
  • Responding to inquiries about our company\'s services and offerings.
  • Determining each client\'s requirements, including destinations, length of stay, and transit time.
  • Informing clients about the cancellation policy, including salient dates and all penalties.
  • Ascertaining and adhering to the available budget.
  • Selecting the most appropriate transport based on the available finances, requisite departure and arrival times, and preferred duration of transit.
  • Securing accommodation that is best suited to the budget and location of choice.
  • Planning excursions based on each client\'s needs and interests.
  • conduct overall group operations including proposal preparation, manifest creation, cost management, and air and land arrangements.
Skills and qualifications required:
  • Prior experience in the GCC would be preferred with local knowledge of the MICE & Holiday industry
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of proven track record and experience in the meetings & event management industry and prior experience in arranging meetings/ events/ exhibitions.
  • Qualification in tourism or similar is preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience as a travel consultant, with expertise in local and international travel arrangements.
  • Computer literate, with exceptional desktop research and professional writing skills.
  • Top-notch interpersonal skills, including communication, respect, and empathy.
  • Ability to source the best quotes.
  • A knack for delivering multiple outputs within tight turnaround times, as needed.
  • Capacity to deliver commendable services that surpass clients\' expectations.
  • Travel Industry knowledge including worldwide destinations and premium cruise and tour suppliers.
  • Proficient in industry technology.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
  • Travel and Tourisum: 1 year (Preferred)
