Job Title: Head of Mathematics (HOD)

A reputable international school in Fujairah, UAE is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Mathematics to lead their Mathematics department starting January 2026. The school follows the British curriculum and is committed to academic excellence and professional growth in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Mathematics department across key stages
Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the British curriculum
Drive curriculum development and monitor standards of teaching and learning
Support and mentor departmental staff to promote continuous improvement
Use data and assessments to track progress and inform planning
Collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to whole-school initiatives
Requirements:
A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
Proven experience teaching Mathematics within the British curriculum
Previous leadership or middle-management experience is highly desirable
Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
