Junior Carpenter



6 months Sponsorship after successful probation



Marine Experience is mandatory



Key Responsibilities



Assist in carpentry tasks such as cutting, fitting, assembling, and finishing marine woodwork.

Support repair and fabrication of furniture, panels, and marine interiors.

Follow instructions from the Senior Carpenter and Supervisor to complete assigned tasks.

Maintain a clean and safe working area and ensure tools are properly used and stored.

Carry out sanding, polishing, and basic finishing under supervision.

Participate in preventive maintenance of marine wooden components.

Report material requirements or shortages promptly to supervisor.

Learn and apply proper use of hand and power tools.

Support the maintenance team in completing integrated marine service projects.

Qualifications & Skills



Vocational training or certification in carpentry/joinery (preferred).

1-2 years of experience as carpenter assistant or junior carpenter (marine experience an advantage).

Basic knowledge of woodwork, laminates, and finishing.

Ability to use hand tools safely and willingness to learn power tools.

Strong attention to detail and eagerness to develop skills.

Team player with good communication and discipline.

Compensation

Monthly Salary: (as per company grading).
