We are looking for a Higher Level Learning Support Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions for students with identified learning needs (e.g., literacy, numeracy, executive function, behavior support). Support students with mild to moderate Special Educational Needs (SEND), including those with identified barriers to learning, in class and in pull-out settings. Implement and track progress against IEP goals, in collaboration with the Inclusion Team. Work closely with the classroom teacher to differentiate instruction and adapt learning materials. Support EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners where appropriate. Maintain detailed student progress records, contributing to formal reviews and KHDA inspection requirements. Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies to ensure a positive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and external professionals as needed. Participate in relevant professional development and staff training, including safeguarding and inclusion. Uphold the school's safeguarding, wellbeing, and child protection policies in line with UAE Ministry of Education and KHDA guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:Essential:

A recognized qualification in Teaching Assistant/HLTA (e.g., CACHE Level 3, HLTA Status, Diploma in Special Needs Education). Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a school setting. Experience supporting students with additional needs (SEND, EAL, or gifted and talented). Strong English communication skills (written and spoken). Culturally sensitive and able to work in a diverse international environment.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
