Grinding and Buffing Helper
supports metal fabrication or finishing operations by preparing steel parts through surface cleaning, smoothing, and polishing. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality weld preparation and final finishing.
Key Responsibilities
Grinding
Use angle grinders to clean welds, remove rust, scale, burrs, or sharp edges.
Prepare surfaces for welding, painting, or further fabrication.
Perform beveling or smoothing operations as directed by fabricators.
Buffing & Polishing
Operate buffing wheels, polishing machines, or handheld tools.
Achieve smooth, clean, or shiny finishes on metal components.
Ensure surfaces meet required specifications and aesthetic standards.
Material Preparation
Handle, stage, and secure parts for grinding and buffing.
Assist with measuring, marking, and organizing components.
Safety & Maintenance
Follow PPE requirements (face shield, gloves, hearing protection).
Maintain grinding and buffing equipment (wheel changes, cleaning).
Keep the work area clean and hazard-free.
Required Skills
Experience with angle grinders, flap discs, wire wheels, and buffing tools.
Basic knowledge of metal finishing techniques.
Ability to work safely around sparks, dust, and moving equipment.
Physical fitness for bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,200.00 per month
