Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Helper with prior experience in painting or assisting painters. The candidate will support painting and maintenance activities by preparing work areas, mixing paints, handling tools and materials, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.Key Responsibilities: o Assist painters in preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer.o Mix paints, varnishes, and other materials according to required specifications.o Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect adjacent areas during painting.o Load, unload, and organize painting tools, equipment, and materials.o Clean brushes, rollers, and other tools after use.o Move furniture, scaffolding, or ladders as directed by the foreman.o Assist technicians with on-site maintenance and repair tasks.o Handle Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FFE) movements as required.o Support setup and dismantling for school events and activities.o Perform gate duties as assigned, ensuring proper access control.o Assist with ASA (After School Activities) setup duties.o Assist in maintenance tasks.o Help in loading and unloading of furniture, materials, and equipment.o Perform general cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the premises.o Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area at all times.o Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment properly.Skills and Requirements: o 1-2 years of experience in painting or assisting painters.o Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.o Basic communication skills and ability to work in a team.o Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude.o Basic knowledge of painting tools, materials, and techniques.
