Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Waste Collection & Transport

Operate heavy trucks to collect, transport, and dispose of waste materials as per assigned routes and schedules. Ensure all waste bins and containers are handled safely and securely during loading, transportation, and unloading. Follow the company's waste segregation and disposal procedures in line with local environmental regulations. Coordinate with site supervisors and clients for smooth waste collection operations.

Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and functionality. Report any mechanical issues, damages, or maintenance needs immediately to the transport supervisor. Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and ready for operation at all times. Ensure proper handling of hydraulic systems, compactor mechanisms, and lifting equipment.

Compliance & Safety

Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and waste transport regulations. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Ensure proper load securing and avoid overloading or spillage during transport. Follow health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in all operations.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and waste transfer notes. Obtain proper signatures and maintain documentation for each completed job. Report delays, incidents, or route deviations to the supervisor immediately.

Other Duties

Assist in training new drivers on safe and efficient waste collection practices. Support other operational tasks as needed within the transportation department.

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
