Role Summary
The Heavy Equipment Operator - Dubai, UAE will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of equipment to support yard and departmental needs within DP World. The role ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards while performing loading, unloading, cleaning, and material handling tasks essential to smooth port operations.

What You'll Do

• Operate heavy equipment safely to meet yard and departmental requirements
• Complete assigned tasks within set timeframes and man-hour targets
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment before operation and prepare checklists
• Report damages, unsafe conditions, or incidents to Foreman or Supervisor promptly
• Perform safe loading, unloading, cleaning, and material handling using buckets and other attachments
• Follow instructions provided by foremen and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain safe work practices to avoid injury, damage to property, or environmental harm
• Assist in other operational duties as assigned to ensure continuity of work

Ideal Profile

• Experience operating heavy equipment in logistics, ports, or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of safe operating procedures and equipment handling practices
• Ability to carry out routine inspections and maintain equipment in good condition
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor operational settings
• Safety-conscious mindset with commitment to environmental and workplace safety standards
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Previous port or terminal operations experience is an advantage
